Membership Policies

Auto-Renew

Memberships auto-charge every 30 days for 3 months or until canceled. When you purchase a membership, you consent to our auto-renew policy.

Classes renew every 30 days regardless of the number of classes offered in a particular month.

Bookings

You can book classes up to 30 days in advance with your membership.

Cancellation policy

If you cancel your booking with less than 24 hours notice, you will forfeit your class credit. This applies to all membership levels and packages. Cancellations made before this window will be recredited to your account.

Refund policy

Genesee Dance & Pilates abides by a strict no refund policy.

Unused memberships may be applied as studio credit if requested in writing within 30 days of purchase, minus a 10% service charge.

Guest Pass

Mat members may bring a guest to any mat class with them free, once per month. To book a spot for your guest, contact the studio.

Roll-over classes

We do not roll over unused credits once a package or membership expires except in circumstances in which the studio was required to close or cancel classes due to extenuating circumstances (weather, teacher illness etc.)

Can I pause my membership?

As of Jan. 1, 2025 Genesee Pilates does not offer a pause feature for memberships once payment has been received for that month’s cycle. You may, however, cancel your current membership and have the remaining unused credits returned to your account for future use.

Members on promotional memberships including legacy memberships will be subject to most up to date rates upon renewal of their membership.

We reserve the right to refuse auto-renew memberships to clients who consistently request membership cancellations and credits within the same calendar year. We encourage you to utilize the class packages feature if you do not think you will consistently use all of your credits in 30 days. Thank you for understanding.

Policies for All Classes

  • Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance for private sessions and 2 hours in advance for group classes.
  • Grippy socks are required for reformer workouts.
  • Please arrive promptly out of respect for other clients. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the class start time, you may not be permitted to join class.
  • Avoid bringing cell phones or electronics into class. Apple watches/fitness trackers should be set to “do not disturb” please.
  • Classes open for booking 30 days in advance. If you book a class and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible to open your spot for another client!

Cancellation and Refund Policies

  • Private sessions require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations.
  • Private sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full session fee. No exceptions.
  • Group classes have a 24 hour cancellation window. Cancellations made after this period will not be refunded or credited.
  • If class is canceled due to too few sign-ups, credits will be refunded.
  • We have a strict no cash refund policy for all class packages.
